Will remodeling our home increase our property value?
Yes. A home remodel will in most cases improve its value. Typically, the home value increase is anywhere from 50% of the invested amount going upwards depending on the improvements made. That means if you put up 200K for a remodel, you could see a value addition of 300K or more. However, this is not a guarantee. If the remodel is not carried out purposefully it could, in some cases, reverse the property value.
Can we get financing to remodel our home with?
Yes. Most homeowners will re-mortgage their homes in order to get additional capital to carry out a home remodel. Talk to your mortgage provider about this to see what capital options are available to you.
What is the cheapest way to remodel a house?
A remodel will only be cheap if the changes being done are minor.
